LDC CEO Heimo Muckenschnabl joins industry leaders at Ifriqiya Energy Hub 2026 to discuss proactive engineering and risk mitigation.
LDC was proud to participate in the second edition of the Ifriqiya Energy Hub (IEH 2026) in Tunis, bringing together energy leaders, policymakers and technical experts from across Africa and beyond to exchange perspectives on energy security, innovation and regional cooperation.
Our CEO, Heimo Muckenschnabl, joined the panel “Prevention before Remediation: Proactive Engineering in O&G Operations”, sharing insights into how proactive engineering approaches can help anticipate operational challenges, mitigate risks and improve efficiency and performance across oil and gas operations.
We were pleased to share the discussion with distinguished industry experts, including Ramzi Aljadi of Waha Oil Company, Hedi Slama of SLB and Olivier HOUZE, 2025 President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Moderated by Ghassen Yahyaoui, the panel highlighted a fundamental principle: anticipating challenges before they become problems is key to safer, more efficient and more reliable oil and gas operations.
